Staged in a remote structure, the journey of The Keep is one whose destination remains unknown until the audience’s final verdict. Residents of The Keep have each retreated into private worlds of their own making, waiting to present their stories for guests - some looking for redemption, others hoping to be pardoned. The ultimate result, the granting of one resident’s release into the outside world, rests on the judgement of visiting audience members. Only one will be chosen, but who?

Originally created and performed in Austria, life is a play, and the guests have a say in directing it. Crime, punishment, innocence, guilt, and social ostracism blend together in this unique experience of site specific theatre, inhabitants and audience alike seeking for atonement in the search for external order. This production of The Keep is co-created by Claudia Heu, Adam Burnett, Donna Jewell, and Tricklock Company.
