A theatrical version of Disney's The Little Mermaid is showing in town. You may have missed the opening and first few performances last weekend but the actors return again this Friday and Saturday night. Musical Theatre Southwest performs the show at the African American Cultural Center. The play, directed by Laura Nuzum, draws influence from both Hans Christian Andersen's original story and the Disney film adaptation. Be ready for fairytale romance, fantastic music and your favorite characters from under the sea. (Cerridwen Stucky)
