What started as a lark while taking a personality test as a departure point for a new collaged work quickly evolved into a large scale body of mixed-media paintings. Runs through 2/28.

Sixty Six Gallery presents “Catalytical,” new mixed media paintings by Diana Elrod. “Catalytical,” refers to the marriage of passion and innovation.  What started as a lark while taking a personality test as a departure point for a new collaged work, the catalyst theme quickly evolved into a large scale body of mixed-media paintings.

Learn more about her process for developing themes in her work and how she employs extensive layering of pattern, depth and shadow to create the finished works during a reception with the artist on Friday evening, February 5th, from 5-8pm
