Leap Year Pet Adoption
The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is celebrating Leap Year with a pet adoption at the city shelters. For all times and locations check online.
Leap Year comes every four years, so consider coming out and changing the luck of an animal at the City shelters. Any pet 6 months or older can Leap out of the shelter for only $4.
There are over 500 animals at our City shelters. Animal Welfare hopes the public will give a home to some of these wonderful pets. Each adoption will include spay or neuter, a microchip and all vaccinations required by law.

Eastside Shelter (8920 Lomas Blvd. NE) and Westside Shelter (11800 Sunset Gardens SW):
10:30am-6pm
Lucky Paws (6600 Menaul NE):
Sat: 11:30am–7:30pm
Sun: Noon-6pm
