A play about two sisters who travel to a magical land to save their mother who has fallen ill.

The Capital High School Theatre Arts Department proudly presents a benefit production of GH Escobar's Play:

Ash Tree—A five performance run scheduled at The Bryan Fant Theatre

SYNOPSIS: "When their mother suddenly falls ill, Tristen, Gaela and Selene vow not to let her go without a fight. The young sisters travel to an eerie and magical land, The Island of the Apples, where they believe their mother has been snatched away. What they discover instead is that little girls must be warriors and princesses; that the strongest armor is built from truth and kindness, and that love will always be the light that guides them home."

Proceeds will benefit: Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region, The Sky Center—New Mexico Suicide Intervention Project and the CHS Theatre Arts Department.
