The world's largest powwow, Gathering of Nations 2016, kicks off on Thursday, April 28, at the Wise Pies Arena. This three day affair will host thousands of people and more than 700 tribes from across the United States, Canada and the globe. Visitors can expect to see dancers and singers competing, a host of artisans displaying their work, and a new Miss Indian World crowned. Tickets start at $18 for general admission. (Maggie Grimason)
