Join in the celebration as artist Wayne Nez Gaussoin presents his latest installation, a ten-foot adobe sculpture called Adobobot. Gaussoin (Picuris/Navajo) has worked as an artist his entire life, starting in his family’s jewelry business and expanding into juried exhibitions with his sculpture and photography. Adobobot melds traditional materials and techniques with contemporary high-tech forms, reflecting the evolution of Pueblo culture over time. (Lecture at 6 pm.)
