Join new parents worldwide to celebrate the natural form of feeding for World Breastfeeding Week in meditation, dance, yoga and baby-wearing. Parents who pump or bottle-feed are also welcome.

We are kicking off World Breastfeeding Week!

Dar a Luz Birth & Health Center will be holding an official Big Latch On on August 6th!

What is the Big Latch On?

Groups of breastfeeding women coming together at registered locations around the world to all latch on their child at a set time. All the breastfeeding women and children are latched on for one minute at the set time and are counted by the witnesses. The numbers are added up and we see if we can beat previous Big Latch On records! Not currently breastfeeding, but pumping or bottle-feeding? You can STILL participate!Everyone must be simultaneously latched at 10:30am. Please plan to show up between 8:30 and 9:00 am to enjoy our morning meditation and other activities. Getting there early also allows you have time to sign in and get settled.

10:00 a.m. Story time with the Library
