Caregivers explore fundamental topics like quality care, rights and responsibilities of caregivers and care recipients, effective communication, diet and nutrition, medication management and more.

This 6-hour facilitated training gives New Mexico direct caregivers the opportunity to explore topics and issues that are fundamental to their profession. The training covers the key concepts of person-centered care, quality care, rights and responsibilities of caregivers and care recipients, effective communication, diet and nutrition, medication management, and infection prevention.
