Mixed media artist Chris Meyer shares the thought process behind creating his storytelling artifacts for the “Open Stories” show currently on display at the Open Space Visitor Center Gallery. These pieces combine Chris’ original photographs of boulders, trees, and other features found in several local Open Spaces with text, collage, and other elements that were chosen using a combination of research into the history of these places and his own imagination. After detailing the creation of several of the pieces in the show, Chris will answer questions about the finished works in the gallery.
