A benefit for the St. Joseph Mission School with a wine and art auction featuring a collection of works by New Mexican artists and wines from the some of the best New Mexican winemakers.

St. Joseph Mission School, located in San Fidel is gearing up for the 6th annual Evening Under the Stars Gala, which will take place Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the school. The evening will include entertainment for the 150 guests; a wine and art auction with local celebrity auctioneers, KRQE chief meteorologist, Mark Ronchetti and KRQE main anchor, Dean Staley; a BBQ dinner and performances from the students of St. Joseph Mission School. Elected officials, distinguished community leaders, and well-known New Mexico artists are expected to attend.

The live wine and art auction will include a collection of works by several New Mexico artists including Pablo Antonio Milan, Marla Allison, Greg Lewis, Pat Pruitt, and Sandy Vallincourt and wines from the some of the best New Mexico winemakers, including Guadalupe Vineyards, Corrales Winery, Black Smuggler Winery, Jaramillo Vineyards, Black Mesa Winery and Rio Grande Winery. 

All money raised from ticket sales will go directly to fund educational programs for the students and to help renovate an area of the school for the early childhood program.

St. Joseph Mission School is a non-profit Catholic School that offers education for Pre-K – 8th students in San Fidel and neighboring Pueblos of Acoma and Laguna. Started in 1923 as a public school St. Joseph Mission School has a rich history which has been reliant on lay teachers for the past 25 years. 

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $75 per person.
