Backyard Farming: Weeds of the West
The End is Nigh!
That's it. I'm going off the grid. Sayonara, suckers. The constant and imminent threat of pro-Illuminati pop music and New World Order-influenced ad campaigns has spurred me to take leave of this mind-controlling modern world and live my life in the woods, where we were meant to be. The only problem is I don't know hoo-ha about foraging. I once found a half empty bag of Doritos out at Jemez, but I don't know if that's typical. Thankfully, Bernalillo County Open Space is hosting the Backyard Farming Fall Series, where experts explain the ins and outs of eating wild. This Saturday, Aug. 13, learn to identify the medicinal uses and how to cook weeds of the west at this free event. I'll meet you in the bush afterward. (Joshua Lee)
