Still Life and Figure Painting

Eason is a painter, avid collector and writer with a passion for cactus, Navajo and Pueblo jewelry, tribal art, and glass.If you have an interest in southwestern art with a distinctive new flair, the work of Eason Eige will definitely draw you in.

Born and raised in Iowa, Eason Eige was educated in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Art History at the Kansas City Art Institute – Parsons and Winterthur.  For twenty-one years he was chief curator of the Huntington Museum of Art, West Virginia.

Eason began painting again in 2004 after 30 years of his busy museum profession.
