Rubi Ate the Fig is a Middle-Eastern infused rock band spearheaded by composer and vocalist Sharon Eliashar. Born in Jerusalem and raised in California's Sonoran desert, Sharon's music reflects both worlds. She has spent many years visiting the Bedouins of the Sinai, and her lyrics are inspired by her time in the desert.
