The Lotus and the Rose

Meditate, learn about the healing properties of lotus essential oil and watch a demonstration of the distillation process using fresh rose petals gathered from a garden.

Start the morning with a sound meditation next to the peaceful lotus pond. This Sound Healing Session will be led by Aimee Conlee, and will include breathing, light stretching and relaxation techniques involving sound. Following the meditation, enjoy a guided walk around the lotus pond and through the rose gardens, led by aromatherapist Christa Obuchowski. Class continues with an in-depth discussion about healing qualities of rose and lotus essential oil, and a demonstration of the distillation process using fresh rose petals gathered from our garden. After a leisurely picnic lunch, class resumes in the afternoon with time to create your very own products from floral oils. Close the day with a grounding Sound healing session to reflect on what you have learned and transition to a peaceful evening.
