Jazz 'n' Juice
The magnificent Groucho Marx once said, “I shall drink no wine before its time! Okay, it's time.” Truer words have never been spoken, because indeed, it is time. On Saturday, Sept. 3, from 1-9pm and Sunday, Sept. 4, from 12-7pm, show up at Villa Hispana at EXPO NM to drink wines from wineries like Black's Smuggler, Las Nueve Ninas and Noisy Water, get groovy with live jazz from the likes of Como Son, Rob Janov Quartet and Saudade, meet talented winemakers and purchase the your favorites by the glass, bottle or case. Tasting tickets for the New Mexico Wine and Jazz Festival for those 21+ are $25/day or $40/weekend. Entrance for designated drivers and minors 16+ is $10/day or $15/weekend. Have a smashing good time, but please, for the love of all that is good in the world, remember to drink responsibly. (Renée Chavez)
