For the 10th consecutive year the JCC is excited to bring to Albuquerque five notable, engaging, fiction and nonfiction authors from across the U.S. Each is touring with a recently-published, acclaimed book. All events, open to the entire community, will be held at the JCC.

10/26   11:30am   INA PINKNEY, Ina’s Kitchen: Memories and Recipes from the Breakfast Queen

Equal parts cookbook and memoir, Ina's Kitchen combines thirty-nine of the Chicago culinary icon's favorite recipes with milestone moments. Ina weaves her three life strands - Jewish Brooklyn upbringing, paralytic polio, and disapproved intermarriage - with her midlife career choice of becoming a chef and restauranteur. Displaying full command of the kitchen and entertaining, Ina shares cooking secrets, savory dishes, and irresistible desserts. Sample some of Ina’s to-die-for recipes at this year’s luncheon.
