A bestselling author (6 bestselling Kindle Singles on Amazon, more than 200,000 copies sold) and a singer/songwriter of note. He has toured opening for Doug Stanhope and gotten props from Johnny Depp and Joe Perry on his new record. His full-length memoir "I Swear I'll Make It Up to You" came out on a major publisher in March so there's lots of current hype. He taught a couple writing classes at Yale to great acclaim. He was on Warped Tour this summer in conversation with Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die. He appears regularly on Stanhope's podcast that goes out to 1.5 million folks per podcast, there have been great recent pieces in The Guardian, Brooklyn Magazine, and on Amazon's blog (links below).
