Get Learnt

Curious about security? Confidence? Hot air balloons? Following your dreams? Education? Theater? Health care? Gender parity? Intersectional feminism? These topics may seem random—and to be fair, they are—but it all comes together on Friday, Oct. 28, for a day of learning at TEDxABQ Women where 11 speakers will be speaking about these topics (and more!) plus performances from WAZO (formerly known as Gabrielle Jackson), Ebony and Marya, Valeria Montes and former Albuquerque Poet Laureate Hakim Bellamy starting at 1pm at the African American Performing Arts Center at Expo New Mexico. Tickets are going quickly, so buy one for $45 before they're all gone. (Megan Reneau)
