Bats are more than the famous blood-sucking vampire transformation folk tales makes them out to be. On Saturday, Oct. 22, from 5-6:30pm, leave all you thought you knew about bats behind. Dr. Ernie Valdez will be holding a presentation on the many different shapes, sizes and colors of bats that live across the world for all who are interested in these fascinating creatures, at Bachechi Open Space.
