Kids experience travelling to Mars in a virtual reality bus, taking a tour along the surface of the Red Planet.

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History invites the public to Lockheed Martin's Generation Beyond: Mars Experience Bus, an out-of-this-world experience that provides the opportunity to “travel” to Mars in a virtual reality bus, taking a tour along the surface of the Red Planet. The Mars Experience Bus is a standard school bus retrofitted with virtual reality technology that replicates 200 square miles of Martian landscape and displays it in the bus's windows, giving riders the sensation they are moving along the Red Planet's surface.

This event will take place on Saturday, October 29, and Sunday, October 30, from 9 am to 5 pm each day. This event is included with paid museum admission. nuclearmuseum.org
