Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival

Arts and Presents

Christmas (or as I like to call it, Giftmas) is quickly approaching—but don't fret—this weekend, Nov. 25-27, you can buy unique, local pieces at the 17th Annual Holiday Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival for everyone on your list. Over 185 artists and craftspeople will be selling something everyone on your list could want and need from jewelry to functional furniture at Expo New Mexico. There will also be performances from carolers, mariachi and pianists along with activities like face painting, food sampling and a “Kids Creation Station.” A super special guest whose name rhymes with “Fanta Laws,” will be present to hear the first wishes of the holiday season. A day pass is $7, a festival pass is $11 (free parking included!) but kids under 12 are free. (Megan Reneau)
