UnValentine's Day Celebration

No Love

Roses are red, violets are blue, Valentine's Day was invented by the greeting card companies to take advantage of suckers like you. But some people refuse to be duped, and they'll be gathering at the South Broadway Library between 10am and 5pm on the dreaded day of Feb. 14, to speak out against romance. If you hate love and love hate, let everyone know at the Un-Valentine's Day Celebration by making some anti-valentine's crafts and participating in other unloving activities. The event is free and open to all-ages. Frowns are not provided by the staff.  (Joshua Lee)

Grumpy crafts and other anti-heart activities.

Don't want to celebrate that chocolate-filled day of icky romance? Don't particularly care for Rom-Coms or single stemmed red roses? Do you prefer the company of your pets to anyone of the two legged variety? Why not join us at the South Broadway Library for an "UnValentines Day" celebration? We will have grumpy crafts and other anti-heart activities throughout the day. You only need to bring your creative self (please have the pets stay home). All materials provided. Please call (505)764-1742 for details.
