Recycled Heart

Heart of Injustice

We all have recycled hearts—they've been used to love so many people, they've endured heartbreak and first love. But some hearts have had a rougher go of it than others. On Friday, Feb. 3, at 6pm at the Harwood Art Center, see the Recycled Heart: The Artists of ArtStreet show, and reflect on the injustice of poverty and homelessness as you peruse new works of art made from repurposed materials. The exhibition runs through Feb. 23. Attend this opening reception for a new perspective on transformation. (Renée Chavez)
