Learn about 18th century New Mexican colonial life. Featuring valses, polkas, cunas and varsovianas music and dances.

Don Francisco depicts the anticipation of an upcoming musical event, such as a fiesta or wedding celebration. Learn about all the preparations for such a celebration. Be carried back in time to the 18th century and imagine the ambiance of early Spanish village social life. Told in a narrative format with violin and guitar accompaniment. The music features Valses, Polkas, Cunas, Varsovianas, and other special dances such as El Valse de los Paños, y Valse del Escoba, La Raspa, etc., hopefully to stir nostalgia and bring back many memories of grandparents and great grandparents.
