Participants learn potential risk factors and warning signs for a range of mental health problems and more.

Santa Fe Community College, in partnership with CYFD and NM Communities of Care hosts three opportunities for a full day of training with Mental Health First Aid Training. In this 8-hour training, participants will learn of the prevalence of various mental health disorders in the U.S., a 5-step action plan to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional care and more. The training will be offered Friday, Feb. 24, Friday, March 31 and Friday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The one-day course is free and open to the public.
