ExtraOrdinary Comedy

Think About It

"You—in the pajamas—put down the Justin Bieber pictures and pick up a pen.” Perhaps more applicable to Albuquerque would be “Shia LaBeouf pictures,” but that's neither here nor there. Nevertheless, get ready to take some notes on comedian extraordinaire Ian Harris this Thursday, March 9, at Skylight Santa Fe and this Saturday, March 11, at the Guild Cinema. You may have seen Harris perform some pretty hilariously precise impressions on Jimmy Kimmel Live! or maybe his atheism-based comedy on Comedy Central or heard his voice on Fuse's “Mad Genius,” but you don't want to miss him Thursday at 8pm in Santa Fe, and 10:30pm in Albuquerque while he's here on his ExtraOrdinary tour. You can also meet the comedian at Kelly's Brew Pub Friday and Saturday before the show at 8pm. (Megan Reneau)

Comedian Ian Harris performs a fascinating and funny mix of spot-on impressions and clever, cutting-edge comedy.

FlyerComedian Ian Harris comes to Skylight in Santa Fe for one night only, on tour promoting his second hour long television special "ExtraOrdinary". A fascinating and funny mix of spot-on impressions and clever, cutting-edge comedy, Ian Harris' act has landed him coveted appearances on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!, COMEDY CENTRAL, as well as his first hour TV special "CRITICAL & THINKING"" which AXS TVcalled "A truly masterful hour of wit, humor and derisive jabbing." His keen grasp of science, evidenced by his satirical, skeptical take on everything from religion to global warming-deniers and beyond, has also earned him comparisons to favorite thinking-man's comics like Lenny Bruce, Bill Maher and George Carlin. With a unique point of view and an impressive array of comedian talents, Ian delivers a thought provoking style of stand-up all his own. Featuring for Ian will be Maurice Northup, who was part of The Evolution of Comedy Tour!
