Local author Kristen Clark discusses the importance of providing extra food and water sources through the winter and explains the impact of the Dog Head Fire on displaced birds.

FlyerLocal author, photographer, and backyard birder Kristen Clark is the author of 15 books and her “Backyard Birding Paradise” has been featured in the Mountain View Telegraph and the Albuquerque Journal. During her visit, she will share her experience of certifying two backyards as wildlife habitats, discuss the importance of providing extra food and water sources through the winter, and explain the impact of the Dog Head Fire on displaced birds, and why they need our assistance. Her books will be available for purchase at this event.
