Two clowns try to survive on a deserted island.

Sartre said “Hell is other people”…He should have met these Clowns.  Bewick and Danut are stranded on a deserted island. Can they survive the elements, the loss of their cell phones, and the lack of a Keurig? More importantly, can they survive each other?   The Island features an immense set that squeezes down into a tiny trunk, plenty of theatrical magic, and a blend of ham-fisted and low-key commentary on our own obsession with always wanting, needing, and having more. A show about what it means to be part of a community, no matter the size.   Created & Performed by Kenn McLeod & Jed Tomlinson in the grand Canadian tradition of theatrical adult clown shows (Mump and Smoot, Morro and Jasp, Sizzle and Spark).

“Lots of little gems throughout the show, one after another, too many to recall, but I was completely captivated from the first moment until the final bow.”  Chrystene Ells, Prairie Puppet Underground

This event is presented as part of the 2017 Revolutions International Theatre Festival.
