The 8th Annual ABQ Recycled Art Fair

Who: FREE event for the whole family

What: Recycled Art Fair and Youth Market – an inspiration to rethink “reduce, reuse, recycle” and keep ABQ clean

Where: Open Space Visitor Center │ 6500 Coors Blvd NW (at the end of Bosque Meadows Rd between Montano and Paseo del Norte. Look for the Flyway art installation).

When: Saturday and Sunday, April 29 & 30, 2017 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

What is recycled or upcycled art? It is work created from 75% or more discarded material—stuff that would have otherwise piled up in storm water drains, vacant lots, or in the landfill. Help us to celebrate Open Space Spring Clean ups in the Foothills and all efforts that keep our city clean throughout the year.

Consider carpooling to be even greener. This is a FREE event. Tentative schedule of events is as follows:

About the Open Space Visitor Center: The Open Space Visitor Center is an interpretive hub for the Open Space program, lands, and resources. Visitors enjoy educational exhibits, art displays, wildlife fields, a Traditions garden, Bosque trails, and a variety of talks, workshops, demonstrations and entertainment. Announcing the 8th Annual ABQ Recycled Art Fair to be held April 29th and 30th from 10 AM to 4 PM (both days) hosted by the City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center with 6 live local bands and DJs to entertain. This year will include 40 NM art vendors, a youth market, educational activities and displays, and two fun contests. Consider riding a bike or carpooling & think good weather. This is a FREE event.
