Ammonite sculptures by Paz. Runs through 5/27.

"Bringing the Fossils to Life" is a show that does exactly that; Paz brings life to his artworks through the ancient mists of time. These art pieces are inspired by ammolite fossils which are prehistoric sea snails whose shell becomes fossilized into some of the most brilliant and colorful gemstones in the world! In this series of multi-media sculptures Paz recreates the basic shapes and fascinating colors of the  ammolite shell. The colors are iridescent and the color-changing effects in the lights are simply amazing. These works introduce human elements into the ancient creatures with faces, figures and eyes, creating a feeling of connection between humans and the eternal. Show runs April 15th-May 27th, 2017.
