Summer Solstice Celebration

Here Comes the Sun

What with the 90 degree weather we've been … um … “enjoying,” it may have already felt like summer for a while, but the real summer solstice won't be until June 20. Celebrate the season of sweat a little early by visiting the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center on Friday, June 16, from 6-9pm. Feel a different kind of summer blues with a three-part concert featuring the Memphis P. Tails, Felix y Los Gatos and Levi Platero. Shumakolowa Native Arts and the museum galleries will be open late for the one night only. Tickets are $20, and kids 4 and under get in for free. (Renée Chavez)
