Visitors enjoy colorful kites of all shapes and sizes. Bring a kite, buy one at the festival or just watch professional stunt kite fliers maneuver kites expertly in the wind.

Join the fun - skies will be filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes throughout the weekend.  Bring your own kite, buy one at the Festival, or watch professional stunt kite fliers maneuver their kites expertly in the wind.  Visitors can fly their kites on large grass fields and participate in kite flying contests. Weather permitting, there will also be a fly-by of experimental aircraft, and a spectacular free-flight raptor show presented by world-renowned falconer Tom Smylie at 2 p.m. each day.  Visitors can go into the wildlife zoo and experience up close native wildlife and raptors, including black bear, cougars, elk, pronghorn, Crested Caracaras and more.  It's fun for the entire family.
