illuminexus is a visual arts exhibit featuring four artists whose works compose a confluence of diverse aesthetic sinsibilities. They find commonality in a fascination with light and color. Marietta Leis draws inspiration from the Aurora Borealis in her abstract painting.  Edwina Hawley Milner applies metal leaf to brilliantly hued paintings based upon natural forms and organic abstraction. Mayumi Nishida , an installation artist, has a particular focus on light and interactive spaces.  Her main piece in this exhibit  will  be a collaboration with her husband , Jon Carver combining silkscreen imagery.  illuminexus renders the circle of light that brings these artists together.  The exhibit will be up through August.
