SouthWest Writers Monthly Meeting

Talk with local writers and enter a drawing for books that have been donated.

South West Writers is organized as a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to educate in the writing field; to stimulate interest in an appreciation for the art and craft of writing; to disseminate information concerning publishers, editors, and agents; to bring together authors, editors and other related professionals.

Monthly meetings with a speaker are held the first Saturday of each month and on the third Tuesday [except in December.] The first hour of each Saturday meeting and the first half hour of each Tuesday meeting are spent on member successes, announcements, and networking. After the break, a speaker will talk for about 45 minutes. The meetings end with a drawing for books that have been donated.
