In this two-part presentation, NM film historian and author, Jeff Berg, will take you on a 'guided tour' of films based on the works of authors who have lived in or are living in New Mexico. Clips from movies and discussion will cover D.H. Lawrence, Edward Abbey, Rudolfo Anaya, Max Evans, and John Nichols, among others. The second half of the presentation will be on Saturday, August 19, 10:30--noon. Among the authors discussed will be Dorothy Hughes, Jo-Ann Mapson, Cormack McCarthy, Margaret Larkin and Michael Blake.
