As part of the 2017 International Folk Market | Santa Fe, the International Folk Art Alliance is proud to present, Creating Global Impact: Social Innovation and Cross-Sector Solution, and host global thought-leaders and respected international figures who embrace IFAA’s mission and vision. This free event brings together four of the most respected leaders in the world of trend forecasting and Social Innovation. Social innovation is a field dedicated to solving social problems by attacking root causes through novel approaches, shifting away from a conventional charity approach of managing conditions.
Lidewij Edelkoort is a world renowned trend forecaster, and is recognized as one of TIME Magazine’s 25 Most Influential People in Fashion. Edelkoort has been named the Honorary Chair for 2017 International Folk Art Market | Santa Fe.
