The Beer Drinker’s Guide to God: The Whole and Holy Truth About Lager, Loving and Living
Author and Episcopal priest Bill Miller discusses his books and his journey with his 12-year-old terrier mix, Wili.
Author and Episcopal priest, Fr. Bill Miller, and his 12-year-old terrier mix, Wili, are on a book signing tour and personal journey that has become known as the “Last Howlelujah Tour – Wili’s Barket List.” Last November, Wili was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma and given only three months to live. Some seven months later, Wili is wagging his tail and still active, so he and Fr. Bill are taking one last trip together as a way of spending as much quality time as possible and fulfilling Wili’s barket (bucket) list. They are stopping in 16 different cities to hold book signings and humorous talks based on Fr. Bill's two books, “The Gospel According to Sam: Animal Stories for the Soul” and “The Beer Drinker’s Guide to God: The Whole and Holy Truth About Lager, Loving and Living." Along the way, they are helping support animal rescue organization. Senior Services Pet Brigade will be the recipient of donations collected at this event.
