Photographer Doug Menuez was given unprecedented access to Steve Jobs and other Silicon Valley pioneers as they developed technologies that would change the world as we know it. In this insightful, entertaining presentation, Menuez shares photos and eyewitness stories from his book Fearless Genius: The Digital Revolution in Silicon Valley 1985-2000, a behind-the-scenes chronicle of an amazing era and the minds that powered it.

Menuez’s intimate photographs reveal the human side of the brilliant tribe of people who created a new culture of innovation. Their passion, emotion, and idealism fueled the industry that created millions of jobs worldwide, along with untold wealth.

The acclaimed photographer brings observations and insights from his time shadowing Jobs and leaders from inside more than 70 companies, many of them startups that failed. There are lessons in Fearless Genius we can apply to our own lives—lessons that are relevant to the challenges and opportunities facing innovators and entrepreneurs today. Menuez will be introduced by Google’s Ivy Ross, VP for hardware products design and user experience.
