Die sang by Jabulani sal jou hart op te hef! In case you don't speak Africaans, that means “The singing at Jabulani will lift your heart.” Just what is Jabulani? It's a refugee choir directed by Lungile and Nkazi Sinandile. The posse of songbirds will sing tunes in multiple African languages as well as English. Plus, there will be a mini fashion show presenting cultural outfits sewn by some of the choir members. It only costs $15 to support these voice artists. Show up at the African American Performing Arts Center on Sunday, July 16, at 4pm to get the full experience. (Renée Chavez)
