An authentic Southwest rodeo experience and fundraiser for the Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program.

The Stables at Tamaya, located at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa on the Pueblo of Santa Ana, is hosting its Summer Rodeo Series for local residents and resort guests.  The series provides an authentic Southwest rodeo experience and serves as a fundraiser for the resort’s Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program.

When guests arrive at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa for the rodeo, they will take a horse-drawn hay wagon out to the Stables at Tamaya.  Once at the Stables, the event provides several family-friendly activities for attendees including photo opportunities with the animals, prize giveaways, and a stick horse race for children.  Throughout the rodeo, local cowboys and cowgirls will participate in traditional competitions seen on the national rodeo circuit including barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, riding, and more.

The Summer Rodeo Series takes place every Thursday at 7 p.m. (hay wagons depart at 6:40 p.m.) through August 24 at the Stables at Tamaya at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, 1300 Tuyuna Trail on the Santa Ana Pueblo.  Tickets to the event are $10 adult/$5 child for resort guests and $20 adult/$10 child for local residents and all proceeds will benefit the Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program.

Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling the resort’s concierge desk at (505) 771-6060.
