Meet the Instructor Sarah Sievert:

Sarah is a bilingual educator with over over 15 years of experience in the field.   “As a mentor teacher and program director she models her use of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with group agreements for her second language students, colleagues, student teachers, and administrators.”

With a masters in Education, she has taught Spanish, English, Art, and HIstory, for ages pre-k through college in both public and private schools from inner city Chicago to rural Oregon. Her understanding of curriculum, proficiency grading, and state mandated Common Core practices enables her to contribute effectively in her occupation.  Sarah is happy to share her experiences, creations, and insights of how NVC thrives in the classroom and positively influences communities.  Full of gratitude for her introduction to NVC in 2002, she is committed to exploring ways that best meet the needs of students and those who serve them in education.
