Songs of Ritual and Memory

David García and Jeremías Martínez as they discuss and play local canciones, rancheras, and corridos of New Mexico. These songs delve into the rich history of northern New Mexico. García, musician and anthropologist who now is the current chair of the College of Fine Arts at Northern New Mexico College, plays the accordion and the violin. Martínez, a respected composer and guitarist living in the Española Valley, will share many new compositions.
