Hops and Dreams: Art Edition

Paintings + Pints

Billed as “a beautifully strange evening of dance 'n' brews,” Tractor Brewing (the Wells Park Chapter) is hosting a not-to-be-missed evening of yes, dance and “brews,” but in this month's version—which is going down on Thursday, Sept. 7, evening—belly dancers are dressed as renowned artists and their paintings, too. Their event listing showcases a picture of Salvador Dalí in all his strange wonder and crazy-eyed glory—so hopes are high for belly dancing surrealists and more. (My fingers are crossed for a dancing Klimt or maybe Munch's “The Scream?”) All will be revealed over the requisite beers when Hops and Dreams: Art Edition kicks off at 7pm. This event is free, but art lovers must be 21+ to attend. (Maggie Grimason)
