Author Robert C. Carr was born and raised in the Laguna Pueblo village of Guischsche, but since then he’s journeyed far and wide, including to a church-run boarding school, college, and graduate school to become a social worker. In this memoir he recounts the adventures of his life and how he’s integrated his diverse experiences into the values and traditions he learned in his home community. Join our monthly book club’s exploration of his life story and the lessons woven throughout.
