Contemporary Zen-inspired brushed ink calligraphy on handmade paper from Meredith McPherson. Runs through 11/30.

Each Moment Only Once by Meredith McPhersonOur featured artist is Meredith McPherson. Having apprenticed in China with a grand master calligrapher, she paints with a focus on contemporary Zen-inspired brushed ink calligraphy on handmade paper. 

Join us for a special "tea and art" talk on September 15. At 6 pm, Robin Scala, owner of The Fragrant Leaf Tea Boutique, will present a brief overview of the tea ceremony and Meredith McPherson will discuss the symbolic role calligraphic artworks play in it. Tea and light refreshments will be served. 

The exhibit runs from September 15 to November 30.
