Ken Keppeler and Jeanie McLerie, who form the heart of Bayou Seco, have been researching and playing the music of the Southwest - from the Mississippi River to the deserts of Arizona - for thirty nine years.

Bayou Seco's brand of Southwestern Chilegumbo - Cajun two-steps, waltzes, polkas and rancheras, chotis's, meringues and huapangos, and, perhaps a broom dance, is crosscultural, multi-lingual and transcends labels and pigeon holes. Bayou Seco's roots are in the deep south and southwest, but their branches reach far across the world. Ken and Jeanie have been going strong since 1980 and they live in SIlver City.
