Preview Screening

A special free Preview screening of the new hour-long documentary, Nasario remembers the Rio Puerco, a profile of acclaimed NM folklorist Nasario García, set in the ghost towns of the Río Puerco valley. There will be a brief presentation before the screening and a Q&A after the screening. The film will be broadcast on New Mexico PBS on October 12 at 7pm.

Remembering the Rio

On Oct. 4, New Mexico PBS will host a special sneak preview screening of the locally made documentary Nasario Remembers the Rio Puerco. This hour-long film is a profile of acclaimed New Mexico folklorist Nasario Garcia. It was filmed outside Albuquerque among the ghost towns of the Rio Puerco valley. There will be a brief introduction before the screening and a Q&A afterward. The screening is free and runs from 7 to 9:30pm at the South Broadway Cultural Center (1025 Broadway Blvd SE). If you can’t make it, New Mexico PBS stations will broadcast the documentary on Oct. 12 at 7pm.
