Inviting Joy is a visual collaboration of two sisters, Susan Aimmerman an Nancy Jo Mullen.  The women worked  together at the Tamarind Instute to create a body of wrok which reflects their shared creative expressions.  Over the last few years while planning the endeavor, both artist strove to identify their shared influences, techniques, and sources of inspiration.  The painter, Agnes Martin, became the source of the title, Inviting Joy. Both Susan and Nancy fell the mutual undertaking has erriched their indididual abilities to achieve a rich synchrony.
