Soft Geometry: Helen Cozza
Soft Geometry is an exhibition of collagraphic prints. This is a printmaking process that involves the printing of low-relief collages. While these collages can be reprinted, the end results are never the same: each piece is unique. In her prints, Cozza creates abstract landscapes that include geometric grids and elements inspired by nature. In some works, form and color quietly speak their own stories to the viewer. In others, a human figure is present, guiding and encouraging the viewer to connect more personally.
Home: (s)and Collective
Home is both a place and a space in our minds. Home can refer to the intimacy of our domestic spaces, the specificity of a geographic location, the nostalgia that is recalled by our five senses, and a place of refuge and safety that exists among family, friends, and community. In this exhibition, a group of 12 Albuquerque artists from the s(and) Collective share creative expressions of their notions of home, within the context of their work together as artists.
